Unlike other mochi donut, our version takes more steps and time to produce.
Our Kinako Mochi Donut contains a generous piece of hand made mochi. It is wrapped around our chewy bread dough and filled with brown sugar syrup. Once it's raised to the perfect size, we carefully deep fry it until golden. Lastly we roll it in kinako powder to give it a nice coat.
This mochi donut is perfect for you if you are looking for something chewy, gooey, sweet and flavorful. Kinako has a taste that is similar to roasted nuts, except it doesn't contain any nuts ;)
