Yuzu is a Japanese citrus. Its sharp and citrusy flavor is like a lemon / mandarin but the flavor and fragrance are very distinct. To make our Honey Yuzu Pan, we generously spread this lovely Yuzu tea (Yuza Cha in Japanese / Yuja Tea in Korean) and cream cheese on bread dough. Then roll, cut, twist, shape, top it with mozzarella cheese and bake to perfection. The tart and sunny flavor of Yuzu complements cream cheese so nicely. The baked mozzarella gives this refreshing yet cheesy pan an excellent crunch.
